Local favourite, The Gregory Hills Hotel, has taken out the top award at this year’s Camden Local Business Awards.

The much-loved hotel was honoured with the “Outstanding Specialised Business” award as well as the highly regarded “Business of the Year” award for 2022.

“We are thrilled and honoured to receive such a prestigious award from our local community” said General Manager Matt Dragicevich.

Community has long been a big factor in the success of the hotel, which is fondly known as “The Grego” throughout the region. “We place a big emphasis on our relationship with the Camden community—without them, we wouldn’t be taking home these wins!” said Dragicevich.

The Grego is a proud sponsor of numerous community and sporting clubs throughout Camden, including Gregory Hills Football, Camden Junior AFL, Oran Park Cricket, and Easts Hockey, as well as hosting a weekly meat raffle and numerous raffles throughout the year to support local charities such as the 24-hour Fight Against Cancer and Legacy.

“We strongly believe in servicing and supporting our extended community through sponsoring sporting clubs, local schools, and charities. We employ over eighty staff, of which five are currently employed through our long-standing partnership with Nova Employment services.” added Dragicevich.

The Gregory Hills Hotel first opened in 2016 and offers a place for friends, families, and businesses to visit to enjoy their wonderful facilities. The hotel has recently added one of the largest kids play areas of the region, that allows families to enjoy a nice meal and drink whilst the children are fully entertained.
