Luddenham Public School have formed a strong connection with the Western Sydney Airport Community Engagement Team. The Community Engagement team visited the school earlier this term to talk to the students about being safe around a construction site and made paper planes to land on a runway.

The Principal, Karen Ellis, was invited to attend the first tour of the Western Sydney Airport site with other local members to increase community awareness of the new project.

The school captains were also invited to assist with the official opening of the Education Experience Centre at the Western Sydney Airport on Monday 2nd September, alongside the school leaders from Bringelly Public School, Kemps Creek Public School and Holy Family Catholic School. Bella and Chloe had the great honour in meeting Prime Minister Scott Morrison and received a special Western Sydney Airport pin. Both students were part of history on that day and will have this memory to share with family and friends forever.
