The local community have welcomed a new business to Wollondilly Shire, with Warragamba Tobacco and Gifts recently opening its doors.
Warragamba Tobacco and Gifts is a tobacconist that also stocks giftware. Some of the items that they have in the shop include model cars, greeting cards, incense, along with seasonal gifts such as birthday presents, Father’s Day presents and Christmas gifts. They are happy to take any requests for specialised gifts and will try their best to get what is requested.
“We chose to open a shop locally as we wanted to provide a service to Warragamba and surrounds as it can be a hassle to drive to Penrith or Narellan to find that last minute gift. Having a local store that can have unique gifts at reasonable prices is a benefit for the whole community. It’s also great to see the Warragamba community and shops coming alive and we’re happy to be part of that” said Renee and Tommy Sabljak of Warragamba Tobacco and Gifts.
Their goals are to provide a friendly service and to be a part of the booming Warragamba community. They would like to see more people have confidence in shopping locally.
So, what do Renee and Tommy enjoy most about living and working in the local area?
“The location, being so close to home, provides a better work/life balance. More time near home enables us to get to know the wider community. It’s been great so far, with some locals popping in just to say hi and see what’s in the shop”.
