Australia Post is pleased to announce that the Emu Plains Post Office has been recognised as one of this year’s Australia Post Licensee Award recipients for its excellence in customer service.

Taking fifth place for NSW and ACT, and thirteenth place nationally, the Emu Plains Post Office received the award for excellence in customer service and Post Office operations, as well as its contribution to the local community.

Australia Post State General Manager Christine Walker said the Emu Plains Post Office is a deserving winner.

“Post Offices play such an important role in our communities, providing our customers with ease, choice and convenience in accessing important services” Ms Walker said.

“These awards acknowledge the hard work our licensed partners commit to communities and Australia Post. It’s only fitting that we recognise and celebrate the wonderful service the Emu Plains Post Office provides its customers every day.

“We are committed to our licensed Post Office network, and importantly the communities they support across Australia. In line with this commitment, we announced an additional $34 million investment into our licensed Post Offices earlier this year and have been working hard to guarantee the future of essential services such as Bank@Post to Australian communities”.

The Emu Plains Post Office is located at Shop 31, 219 – 249 Great Western Highway, Emu Plains and is open 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday, and 9:00am to 12:00pm Saturday.
