You may have noticed a hive of activity around the freshly painted and spruced up Christian Community Church in Wallacia.
A team of artists and craftsmen having been working over the last few weeks to bring history alive with renovations inside and outside of the small church. Their main aim is to create the atmosphere of a quaint ‘Old Bush Chapel’, with charm and elegance for small weddings and functions.
The church has a long and surprising history that dates back further than the year 1927, when it was ‘built’ in Wallacia. But, they will tell you more about that next time.
Stage one of three will be completed in time for the Christmas Carols night on the 9th of December (6:00pm to 7.30pm) this year.
The renovations may not be everyone’s cup of tea, so why don’t you come for the Carols and supper and make your own mind up. They’d love to see you.
