Regentville Rural Fire Service will be holding their annual Santa Run again this year, to the delight of everyone young and old.

This December, Santa will be spreading Christmas cheer around the streets, accompanied by his helper elves, and the big red fire trucks carrying lollies for everyone!

The Rural Fire Brigade love this time of the year, as it’s a chance to give back to the community for their support throughout the year. And of course, Santa loves the big red shiny fire trucks he sometimes calls on for their big ladders to help him to particularly difficult chimneys.

Throughout the year, the community supports the ‘bush firies’, as they help the community in all emergency situations from bushfires, floods, and other natural disasters to car accidents and other incidents. The Santa Run is a time they can engage with the community and vice versa, in a less stressful environment.

The Brigade is run by volunteers, so it is important that they engage with their community. The Santa Run is a great time for the community to find out more about their local brigades, and some of the services they provide. It’s also an opportunity for the brigade members to unwind and relax with the people they work for.

“We would like to thank everyone in the area for their continued support throughout the years with our Santa runs”, Jordan Jobson from the Rural Fire Service told us.

“You make it so worthwhile, and it brings as much joy to our members as it does to the community, and every year we try to make the event bigger and better than ever before!”.
