Jack Corcoran from Glenmore Park has been nominated for the First National Real Estate Leadership Award in the 2020 7NEWS Young Achiever Awards.

Jack has a young brother with Downs Syndrome and has been a dedicated worker at the Rainbow Club, helping children with disabilities learn to swim. He is also a JP at only 19 years of age because he wants to give back to the community.

Jack is a quietly spoken, generous, thoughtful young man who has experienced the challenges and joys of a family member with a disability. He has turned this experience into a strength to enable him to give back to other families experiencing the same challenges. He has continued to extend himself in service by becoming a JP and has helped teach children with a disability how to swim.

We congratulate Jack for being nominated and wish him the best of luck with judging on Wednesday 11th December 2019. Finalists will be presented, and winners announced at an Awards Gala Presentation Dinner on Friday 20th March 2020.

Category winners will each receive a trophy and over $2,000 worth of prizes, made up of a $1,500 Bartercard Trade Account, $500 cash from Awards Australia and a $300 voucher from Fly Pelican.

One of the category winners will be named the 2020 NSW/ACT Young Achiever of the Year and will receive an additional $2,000 for their Bartercard Trade Account and a further $500 cash from Awards Australia, along with a magnificent state trophy.
