Emu Plains based beautician Michal Gabriel of Michal Gabriel Beauty and Brow has beaten off hundreds of nominees to be crowned the winner of the Best Brows in the 2019 Secret Salon Society Online Awards recently.

The amazing achievement comes just two short years since Michal opened her business at the foot of the Blue Mountains, after working in the beauty industry for the past 17 years.

“I am very honoured to win this international award and to bring it back here to Emu Plains” Michal said to the Emu and Leonay Gazette.

Michal Gabriel Beauty and Brow specialises in natural eyebrow design and restoration. The beauty business also provides high end facials and makeup workshops.

Michal’s story began right back when she was a child and was unhappy with the scars on her eyebrows, which would often cause her to be insecure and not want to leave the house. She turned this fear around into a desire to want to help others.

“My passion is for brows, there’s no doubt about that. I have had 5 scars on my eyebrows since I was young. From the age of 12, I never left the house without filling them in. Naturally it became a passion and today I love helping women who are frustrated with their eyebrows. I help to give them back their confidence with their natural brows and beauty. I always use the hashtag #SaveTheNaturalBrow, as I feel that with all the eyebrow trends that there are today, I do save them” explained Michal.

Now that Michal has the Best Brows Award, she hopes to continue her work with creating beautiful eyebrows for her clients.

“My goals now for the business are to keep on helping and educating as many women as possible by showing them simple ways to get stunning results with their brows naturally” she ended.
