Local Emu Plains business The Day Spa @ Jorja James have had an amazing start to the year, having won four awards, including an International award, proving that they are one of the best in the beauty industry.

The boutique day spa have won for the Beauty Day Spa at the 2019 Brides Choice Awards, Boutique Spa Australasia at the 2019 World Luxury Spa Awards, Outstanding Beauty Services and Business of the Year at the 2019 Penrith City Local Business Awards.

Owner Samantha Oraya could not be any prouder of her team, customers and the local community for all of the support. “To have won these awards, I am speechless! Words can’t express how blessed we feel and how much gratitude we have for the amazing support we have from our beautiful clients and the community. To be honoured as the Business of the Year is truly surreal, especially as we have so many truly amazing businesses in Penrith” she told the Emu and Leonay Gazette.

Samantha and her team at The Day Spa @ Jorja James still have a busy year ahead of them and are finalists in three more awards.

“Currently, our business is one of three finalists in the Australian Beauty Industry Awards for the Eco/Sustainable Spa. We are also finalists for the NSW Day Spa and Ausmumpreneur Awards. Being eco/sustainable is integrally who we are, so to be in a position to be able to share this message is very exciting” Samantha explained.

Showcasing her business on the local and world stage, Samantha enjoys living and working in the area, “Simply put, I absolutely love Penrith! We have such an amazing community and we love being part of it”.
