The upgrade to Oran Park’s new high school has commenced. Once completed in early 2020, this project will deliver:
• 90 innovative learning spaces
• Core facilities
• A hall to accommodate two basketball courts
Works at Oran Park’s new high school are progressing well. The building foundations are near completion and the ground floor is being prepared.
The bulk excavation works are nearing completion and the school carpark is being prepared for construction vehicle access. Once the carpark is complete, building contractors will park within the work site to maximise availability of public on-street parking.
The safety of the school community and neighbours is their highest priority. Boarding and shade cloth has been installed to reduce noise and dust impacts. Construction work will continue to take place between 7am and 6pm
Monday to Friday and 8am to 1pm on Saturdays. No night works are scheduled.
A School Principal has been appointed and officially took up the position on 13 May 2019. Enrolments for the school are now being accepted for students starting Year 7 and 8 in 2020.
