The popular local event, Bold Jack Country Music Festival, is back and will take place on Saturday 27th of April at the Warragamba Memorial Park and Town Hall.
The Bold Jack Country Music Festival is a not-for-profit organisation who aim to raise much needed funds for the local community. This year, their chosen charity is the Vietnam Veterans, Peacekeepers and Peacemakers Association, who support our veterans with depression and PTSD.
The Festival begins at 10:00am, with a free outdoor event in the centre of Warragamba featuring a variety of activities. There will be a day stage with live artists; Leaving Reality, Young Floyd, Mark Shay, Bruce McGregor and Dani Young. They will have food stalls to tantalise those tastebuds with traditional Thai, potato sticks, Turkish Gozleme, sausage sandwiches, coffee and delicious cupcakes. Please remember that the Warragamba township also have a variety of restaurants, a café, deli and gelato bar to choose from. There will be a jumping castle, pony rides, as well as a monster truck that the kids can climb on and have their photo taken with.
Simply Bushed will be hosting a family bush dance in the Town Hall from 4:00pm for a gold coin donation, so don’t forget your dancing shoes.
From 6:30pm, the ticketed concert in the hall begins with seated tables and a wet bar. The concert closes late and the artists that are performing include Johanna Hemara, Simply Bushed and Jayne Denham. Get your tickets on the Festival’s website, Facebook page or you can purchase on the day, but tickets are selling fast!
A Ute Show and Shine Competition will run in conjunction with the event. If you have a ute that you would like to enter, download an entry form, complete and email it back to them at boldjackmusicfestival@hotmail.com. Registrations must be completed by 9:30am on the day.
