It was only four short years ago that Oran Park Podium opened its doors and created hype and buzz for our locals. No longer having to drive far to get bread and milk and a lazy Sunday walk for a coffee became a loved ritual for most of us.

It is no doubt that since its opening in 2014, the Oran Park Podium has provided not only convenience but also opportunities for local jobs and business dreams to come true.

Over the last month, Oran Park residents have seen the opening of not one but three new retailers in the Podium all offering something special, unique and exciting to their customers.

Situated out on ‘eat street’ are the two humble and friendly sisters Linda and Christie who own and operate Two Chicks Lebanese Charcoal BBQ. A family run business, providing the most delicious chicken and garlic sauce I have eaten, all local produce, fresh and ready for your dinner table.

Also new to ‘eat street’ is CREA Authentic Pizza, owned and operated by husband and wife duo Teresa and David. Offering pizza and pasta for dine in or takeaway.

A long-anticipated opening of our very own butcher has created some excitement amongst locals and no doubt will be providing the most delicious sausages for the summer BBQ’s.

Mr D’s Traditional Meats operated by Carlo, a 3rd generation butcher, has a wide variety of fresh meats and poultry on offer for the perfect addition to your next meal masterpiece.
Speaking with Becky Pascoe from Greenfields and Oran Park Podium, she explains how well the new retailers have fit in,

“All three retailers have fit in seamlessly. The Podium has aimed to deliver convenience, quality and a community focus. Two Chicks, CREA and Mr D’s embody the values of The Podium, being passionate about delivering a quality product, service and an authentic experience. The community have welcomed these new additions to The Podium and the retailers have noticed, appreciating the support and enjoying being part of the Oran Park community”.

Local small business is an important part of the growth and sustainability of our great community.
We all need to play a part in supporting our local business. Pop down and say hello to our newest retailers and buy local.
