On Saturday the 11th of August and Sunday the 12th of August, the Mighty Warragamba Wombats J.R.L.F.C will be holding the electrifying Round 1 Final Round of the Group 6 Finals Series at Warragamba Oval.

This will be a fantastic time for the local community, as the Wombats get to host and support their own home-grown teams competing. With the support of the community, they hope to raise much-needed funds to complete the year on a high by also providing a well-deserved function and presentation day at the end of the long season.

The Warragamba Wombats have not held the junior semi-finals for many years and this is a major commitment by the Committee, players and parents of the club to fulfil the requirements that Group 6 outlines. It is a year of many firsts for the club, which include record numbers of registrations. It promises to be an exciting weekend, with the whole community invited to come and watch some high energy football, enjoy a BBQ lunch and an opportunity to cheer on the Mighty Wombats and other local teams.

In 2019, they’ll be looking to introduce Girls League Tag at the Warragamba Wombats. This is an exciting game for girls aged 10 to 16 years of age. They have also updated their sponsorship packages and have some exciting offers and opportunities for local businesses that would like to partner with the Warragamba Wombats. If you would like to express your interest in Girls League Tag and sponsorship, please don’t hesitate to contact Dwayne Hayes (President) on 0400 581217.

Go the Mighty Wombats!
